Abstract

Teenagers' character development has been significantly impacted by the growth of digital media. Patience is a crucial characteristic that adolescents should be taught. The internalization of patience principles based on YouTube lectures by Buya Yahya and their connection to the development of teenage character are the topics of this article. This study combined a library research approach with a qualitative methodology. The information was gathered from a number of pertinent books and scholarly publications, as well as from Buya Yahya's lectures on YouTube. The findings demonstrate that patience in Islam include more than just controlling one's emotions; it also involves obedience, abstaining from immoral behavior, overcoming obstacles in life, and upholding social bonds. Adolescents' mental health and self-control are positively impacted by the virtue of patience, which is intimately linked to Allah's assistance. In order to help teenagers become disciplined, intelligent, and responsible adults who can deal with the challenges of contemporary life, it is crucial that they internalize the virtues of patience.
