Abstract

The role of parents in children's religious education in the modern era is increasingly crucial due to rapid technological developments and social changes. The modern era, marked by digital advancements and globalization, presents both challenges and opportunities for children's religious education. Parents hold the primary responsibility as the first and foremost educators to instill spiritual, moral, and religious values from an early age. However, amidst the overwhelming flow of information and the influence of digital media, this role is often neglected or replaced. Therefore, parents need to develop relevant approaches, such as utilizing technology as an interactive medium for religious learning and guiding children in the use of digital media. Additionally, parents must be concrete role models in practicing religious values, so children can witness the application of religious teachings in daily life. With active parental involvement, children's religious education can remain relevant and strong amidst the challenges of the modern era.
