Abstract

This research aims to find out how effective the use of interactive learning media in natural science subjects is in increasing learning achievement for class III at the Banyuraden Muhammadiyah Elementary School. This research was carried out at SD Muhammadiyah Banyuraden in the 2023/2024 academic year. This research is experimental research with a design design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This design involves two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. In this case, the researcher used 2 classes as samples. The sample consisted of classes III A and III B. Cognitive ability was measured using pretest and posttest. The analysis techniques used are normality test, homogeneity test, independent sample t-test with a significance level of <0.05.The results of this study concluded based on the results of the N-gain Score Test, showing that the average N-gain score for the experimental class (using interactive learning media) was 0.6274, included in the "Medium" category or included in the sufficient category. effective. Meanwhile, the average N-Gain score for the control class (without using interactive learning media) was 0.3345, which was in the "Medium" category or was in the ineffective category. So it can be concluded that the use of interactive learning media is quite effective in improving learning achievement in science subjects regarding changes in the shape of objects in class III students at SD Muhammadiyah Banyuraden.
